2. Introduction

Welcome to Mindost (mindost.in), an AI-powered mental wellness application (hereinafter referred to as "Mindost"). By accessing or using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

3. Eligibility and Age Restrictions

You must be at least 18 years old to use Mindost. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you may only use Mindost with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from individuals under 13.

4. User Accounts

To create an account, you must provide a valid email address and may be required to provide additional personal information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

Mindost offers three free sessions. Continued use requires a subscription. Payments are processed through Razorpay or Stripe, subject to their respective Terms of Service and Privacy Policies. Our refund policy allows for pro-rated refunds within the first 14 days of a new subscription.

6. AI and Liability Disclaimer

Mindost provides general mental wellness advice through AI technology. However:

  • Mindost is not a licensed therapist, psychiatrist, or mental health provider.
  • The AI is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • Mindost does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of the AI's advice.
  • You acknowledge that Mindost is not responsible for any consequences, harm, or losses resulting from using the AI's advice.
  • Mindost is not suitable for emergency or crisis situations.
  • If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact local emergency services or a qualified mental health professional.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

We take data protection seriously and comply with applicable Indian data privacy laws (such as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023):

  • All conversations are encrypted end-to-end.
  • We do not share your personal data or conversation logs with third parties, except as required by Indian law.

Mindost retains all rights to the app's design, content, features, and technology. You retain ownership of any original content you submit, but grant us a non-exclusive license to use it to improve the service.
